Your Local Guide - Valerio Sasari

Growing up in a small farming community outside of Cusco not only taught Valerio the ancient language of the Incas (Quechua) and the value of family, it also taught him the importance of being connected to the land and to one’s roots.

He began working as a spiritual guide in 2010 and now offers a variety of tours through his company, Runa Ñan Travel. In his work he encourages visitors to revitalize the link to their own ancestral agricultural practices and to live more holistically in order to lead happier and healthier lives.

Valerio enjoys sharing his passion and love for his culture and the interconnection of the natural world with Andean spirituality with others. The principles he teaches he puts into practice in his own daily life, as well as in his beekeeping and his work distilling essential oils from local native plants.
